Angela Clifton, a classmate of my daughter Katherine Logan at the Atlantic School of Theology is looking for help with her Master’s Grad Project. She is looking for a couple of men to be a participant for an individual confidential interview within the next few weeks.
The criteria is men of faith who have provided care for a partner experiencing dementia and specifically how the church has or has not responded to their needs. She is looking for direction to guide the church in developing new initiatives for this increasing group of people.
As Masons we are the largest group of men in the province with a variety of faiths, hopefully a couple of our Brethren may be able to help Angela with this project.
Male caregiving comes with many challenges that go unnoticed in many of our organizations. Hopefully Angela’s study may also provide insight for us as a Fraternity to better support our Brethren experiencing this major life event.
She can be reached by either phone 1-902-521-7040 (c) or email aclifton@eastlink.ca
