Welcome to the website for attendees of the 160th Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia, to be held on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Here, you will find all necessary information and relevant guidance for submitting your participation.

Please note that online registration and payment must be completed as soon as possible and no later than Friday, April 24th, due to limited hotel room availability and capacity for our Grand Banquet.

Welcome Brothers and Visitors!

 

It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to you to the 160th Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia, held in Truro, The Hub of Nova Scotia, Canada.

 

This key gathering is the annual opportunity for us to come together, review the past year, align our governance practices, and to elect and install the officers who will preside over Nova Scotia Masonry for the new year.

 

We look forward to a productive and inspiring session. Thank you for being part of this important tradition.

Dress Suggestions

For the Friday evening:

  • Service of worship/memorial, Masons should wear regalia, smart casual for others 

  • Grand Master's reception, smart casual attire.

For the Friday and Saturday Grand Lodge sessions, Grand Lodge officers will be in morning attire.

For the Grand Lodge Banquet, Tuxedo or White Dinner Jacket. Evening wear for the ladies.

Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia group rate is: $ 159.99 per room - Double Occupancy – Breakfast Included - Extra Person $ 20.00

 A valid credit card i s required to hold your reservation; cash, debit, Visa/Mastercard debit are not accepted for room holds. Visa/Debit and Mastercard/Debit are not accepted at check-in.

 

Rates are based on 2 adults (any person over the age of 13 is considered an adult) with breakfast included. Each additional adult is $20+taxes

 

We have pet friendly rooms. There will be an additional $25+taxes per night added to your stay, should you have a pet.

 

Cut off date for the group rate is 4 weeks prior to the check-in date.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm/ Check-out time i s 11:00am.

Cancellation is 24 hours prior to arrival.

Any reservation that checks out earlier a day or more than expected is subject t o a $75+taxes early departure fee.

No Show rooms will be charged 1 night's room and taxes.

Pre‑registration is now closed, however, Brethren who have not yet registered are invited to do so in person at the Grand Communication on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th.

The Registration Room will be open at the following times:
 

  • Friday: Opens at 1:00 p.m.

  • Saturday: Open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
