At the regular meeting of Keith Lodge No. 17 on the evening of September 11th, the District Deputy Grand Master of District 1, R.W. Brother Peter Lacroix, proudly presented R.W. Brother Matt Todd, one of the Lodge’s most esteemed members, with his 55-Year Bar, recognizing a lifetime of dedicated service to his Lodge and to Masonry.
Highlights of Brother Todd’s Distinguished Masonic Career:
Initiated, Passed, and Raised in Keith Lodge No. 17 – 1970
Appointed Grand Steward – 1989
Served as Grand Historian – 1993 to 2000
Recipient of the Meritorious Service Award, Keith Lodge No. 17 – 2012
33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason
Sovereign Grand Commander, with decades of leadership at both local and national levels within the Scottish Rite
Founding contributor to the Scottish Rite Learning Centre in Dartmouth; Board member since its inception and trained tutor supporting student success
Brother Todd’s unwavering commitment and leadership continue to inspire generations of Masons in Halifax and across Nova Scotia.
