Board of General Purposes Meeting Yesterday

The Board of General Purposes quarterly meeting took place yesterday in Truro. The proceedings of that meeting will be distributed by the Grand Secretary to the lodge Secretaries and available here and on the grand lodge website when they become available. Normally present would be the Grand Master, but he is attending the annual communication of the Grand Lodge of Connecticut this weekend.

For our newer members, the Constitution assigns to the Board "The General Care and Regulation of Grand Lodge." Most of its work is done through a number of Committees, each with special responsibilities. There are presently Standing Committees, each specified by the Constitution, and Special Committees.
