Brother Ward W Cunningham presented with his 75 year bar on June 3, 2025

Born April 21 1928, Made March 4, 1950, Passed May 3, 1950, and Raised June 7, 1950, Brother Ward Cunningham was presented with his 75 year bar on June 3, 2025 by RW Brother Ken Simmons, Grand Junior Warden.

Brother Cunningham was a member of Zarthan Lodge until that lodge went into darkness Dec 31 1998, and then affiliated with Philadelphia lodge No 47 April 6, 1999.

Secretary of Zarthan Lodge for 32 years, he also served as Master 1956, 1957, 1971 and 1982.

Served as Grand Sword Bearer 1961 and Deputy Grand Master 1962, 1963

Has been Secretary of Philadelphia Lodge No 47 from 2014 until present

He is an active member of Union Chapter No.7 Royal Arch Masons, Keystone Chapter of Eastern Star where he has served as Worth Patron 7 times. He was also elected Worth Grand Patron for NS and PEI in 1982-83

He is proud to be the oldest living Past Grand Patron, a distinction he is in no hurry to relinquish

He is an active member in all the Masonic bodies that he belongs to and makes every effort possible to attend all regular meetings actively engaging in whatever work he is able to help with.

At 97 years old, Brother Cunningham is a true inspiration to the Craft.
